Youth Red Cross (YRC)

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit of Salem Kongunadu Arts and Science College functions under the guidance of the Indian Red Cross Society. It aims to develop a sense of social responsibility, service, and humanitarian values among students.

The YRC encourages students to participate in activities that promote health awareness, blood donation, disaster relief, and community service. Through these initiatives, the unit helps students build empathy, leadership, and teamwork while contributing to society’s welfare.

Vision

To inspire young people to uphold the principles of humanity, service, and compassion through active participation in Red Cross activities.

Mission
