The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Salem Kongunadu Arts and Science College was established to nurture the spirit of innovation and self-employment among students. The cell aims to identify potential entrepreneurs, develop their skills, and guide them in transforming innovative ideas into viable business ventures.

Through seminars, workshops, and interactions with successful entrepreneurs, the EDC encourages students to explore opportunities in start-ups, small businesses, and social enterprises. It also provides guidance on project planning, business financing, and government schemes for young entrepreneurs.
