Red Ribbon Club (RRC)

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) at Salem Kongunadu Arts and Science College functions under the guidance of the Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society (TANSACS). It aims to create awareness among youth about HIV/AIDS prevention, blood donation, and healthy lifestyles.

The club encourages students to develop a sense of social responsibility, self-care, and community awareness. Through seminars, rallies, and health campaigns, the RRC promotes safe and responsible behavior among students and the public.

Vision

To build a healthy, responsible, and aware youth community committed to the prevention of HIV/AIDS and the promotion of voluntary blood donation.

Mission

  • To create awareness about HIV/AIDS, stigma, and discrimination.

  • To promote voluntary blood donation and healthy lifestyle practices.

  • To encourage students to become peer educators and health ambassadors.

  • To build partnerships with health organizations and social welfare agencies.

Objectives
