Women Empowerment Cell (WEC)

The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) at Salem Kongunadu Arts and Science College plays a vital role in promoting gender equality, confidence, and leadership among girl students. The cell strives to create an environment where women feel safe, respected, and encouraged to achieve their personal and professional goals.

It conducts awareness programs, workshops, and interactive sessions on women’s rights, health, safety, and entrepreneurship. The WEC also collaborates with NGOs, government organizations, and resource persons to enhance the overall development and empowerment of women in the institution.
