B.Ed. Eligibility

  • Duration: The B.Ed. programme is of 2 academic years, structured under the semester system with four semesters.
  • Academic Qualification: Candidates must hold a UG degree (10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern) from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Percentage Required (as per category):
    • OC (Open Category): 50%
    • BC / BCM: 45%
    • MBC / DNC: 43%
    • SC / SCA / ST: 40%
  • Subject Eligibility: Graduates in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, or Computer Applications are eligible to apply for corresponding B.Ed. subjects.
  • Outcome: Ensures equitable access for students from different communities while maintaining academic standards.

M.Ed. Eligibility

  • Academic Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed a B.Ed. degree with at least 50–60% aggregate marks.
  • Teaching Experience: In some cases, a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is desirable/required.
  • Eligibility Streams: Graduates from Arts, Science, Commerce, Psychology, and Home Science backgrounds can apply based on specialization.
  • Outcome: Prepares graduates for advanced teaching, research, and leadership roles in education.
