The department was started in the year of 2008. At present pass out students were 850. The department has actively involving faculty members in various academic and research works related to commerce. The department has been doing yeoman service for the cause of higher education catering to the requirements of students mostly hailing from rural areas and nearby hamlets. The department has achieved a remarkable academic performance in this area.

From this academic year (2008-2009) the department starts its function separately and formed as a new department of commerce with computer application. It aim to shape the students to fit in this competitive and corporate world.

*After completing B.Com with CA course at UG level the students have a plenty of scope & eligible careers with professional & non-professional courses, competitive examinations.
To develop basic skills in the subjects of Commerce, Computer and related disciplines.
