Salem Kongunaadu Arts and Science College is founded in the year 2007 and is managed by KONGUNAADU EDUCATIONAL TRUST, a trust created with a vision and mission of providing education to the students in and around Salem. The members of the Trust are well educated and are in the helm of public status.
It is located in the "Heart of the City Salem" and is situated near Radisson Hotel, Bangalore Main Road, Mamangam, Salem. A well unpolluted serene atmosphere for the students to study their desired subject. The College is affiliated to Periyar University. Apart from the University Curriculum we update general knowledge, soft skills programme, personality development, extra disciplinary courses, English language training programme to the students. For enhancement of the knowledge in getting placement we provide placement programme for the final year students.
The College is strategically placed and adequately equipped to provide access to the first generation learners, the urban class with modern learning approach and empower them in their interested fields. Our College has well equipped classrooms, labs, library etc. For effective and better connect with the subjects we take the classes through the LCD projectors with the help of power point presentation. To facilitate and to provide education at affordable cost. We provide Free College Bus facility to the students in and around the Salem city.

Chairman Message
A determined, insightful and great administrator, the Chairman of Salem Kongunaadu Arts and Science College, Thiru P.SENGOTTAIYAN a renowned educationalist, is the helm of affairs since 2013, working with his team and achieving the goals of Kongunaadu Educational institution. The Chairman is a divergent thinker with an eager to infuse the young minds with the quest of knowledge while nurturing contemporary and young talents.
He started his career as a BT Asst in the year 1969 and after nine years he was promoted as PG Assistant in 1978 and he continued in the same cadre till his retirement (2003). Nearly he was in the field of education for more than 40 years. During his career as a PG Assistant he produced so many Doctors, Veterinary Doctors, Agri Graduates, Engineers, Bank Staffs, Teachers, Head Masters and head Mistress etc. Some of his students are working as scientists in India and also in abroad.
One of his student rose up to the level of Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Open University. Another Student attained the level of GM in Bank of India and one more student is shining as an IRS officer. After his retirement he served as a principal in a self financing teacher training institute for more than 7 years and produced many qualified teachers.

The Laurel wreath of our college Thiru R.NAGARAJAN is closely associated with the growth and evolution of the college. With the guidance from Chairman and assistance from our college council, he propelled the college to reach the skies and receive several prestigious awards.
He took the charge as the Secretary of the college with the effect from 2013 and has been steering the institution successfully. He has his own distinctive vision on shaping the future development of institution. He believes in the importance of "Harnessing the resources of talented personnel and recognizing true performance", which will definitely help the institution to grow further in its academic stature.
